Barcelona Firefighters’ Activities

At Plaça de l’Univers, Barcelona Firefighters will feature their educational vehicle, PREvenim!, equipped with real intervention tools, materials for practicing small fire extinguishing, and audiovisual equipment for educational activities. The goal is to teach children, in a didactic way, how to act in an emergency, offering practical advice on what to do in case of fire.

Children will also have the opportunity to:

  • Climb aboard a Barcelona Firefighters’ truck and experience its functions firsthand.
  • Try on the uniforms used by the corps in their services.
  • Participate in various crafts, such as painting drawing sheets and assembling a small cardboard truck.

Barcelona Urban Guard Activities

The Barcelona Urban Guard will also be present in Plaça de l’Univers. Children can:

  • Climb into a police vehicle dedicated to the prevention and investigation of traffic accidents.
  • Even speak through the agents’ radio channel.

Mounted Unit:

  • Daily participation: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
  • A workshop where agents will explain the daily tasks of this unit and what it entails to care for animals.
  • Children can pet and groom the horses after the workshop.

Canine Section (UREP – Emergency and Proximity Reinforcement Unit):

  • Animal welfare exhibition: December 27 and 30, at 11:30 AM.

At the indoor stand, children will also have a space for various crafts, as well as the chance to ride a police motorcycle and quad.
