Barcelona, May 7, 2026 – Hines, a global real estate investment firm, in partnership with Grupo Inmobiliario Sacresa, has officially inaugurated Aparto Diagonal Suites, a new 526-room hotel in the Porta Diagonal area of Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona. The project features a striking 22-story tower, designed by the renowned architectural firm Batlleiroig, covering a total area of 21,000 square meters.

The newly opened hotel boasts nearly 100 meters in height and offers a comprehensive range of amenities designed to cater to a diverse clientele. These include a rooftop swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, a cinema room, dedicated study areas, and various communal spaces, enhancing the guest experience.
Aparto Diagonal Suites strategically benefits from its prime location, offering direct connectivity to Avenida Diagonal. With the addition of Aparto Diagonal Suites, Hines’ portfolio managed by aparto now encompasses 3,178 beds across operational and development assets in the Iberian Peninsula. This includes 1,616 beds in Barcelona, 339 in Madrid, 650 in Valencia, and 573 in Porto, demonstrating a robust expansion in the region’s flexible living market.
