The Community of Madrid celebrated the 25th anniversary of its Madrid Excelente quality seal today, February 11, 2026, at the Royal Post Office, the regional government’s headquarters. The event also featured the II Premios Excelentes gala, which recognized the most outstanding companies of the year among those holding the distinction.
Madrid Excelente: A Quarter Century of Excellence
Rocío Albert, Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment, highlighted in her speech that, in its quarter-century of existence, the Madrid Excelente seal has consolidated itself as a “benchmark model that distinguishes Madrid companies for their service vocation, their quality in management, and their ability to adapt to present and future challenges.”
Albert also participated in the awards ceremony, alongside the Minister of Digitalization, Miguel López-Valverde, and the Minister of Education, Science and Universities, Emilio Viciana.
Recognizing Innovation and Corporate Responsibility
The event was attended by more than 400 executives from national and international companies, who witnessed the distinction of firms such as Making Science Group, Prodesco, ILUNIÓN Contact Center BPO, Enfoka, Cruz Roja, Fundación ICAM, Gilead Sciences, Spika Tech, and FCC, which received the Excellent Company of the Year Award.
Currently, more than 250 organizations have achieved this certification, which accredits their commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, management efficiency, and corporate social responsibility. Of these, 106 have been certified in the last three years, coinciding with the new stage of project management, representing 42% of the total recognized entities.
