The Community of Madrid will celebrate the third edition of the Three Kings Race (Carrera Popular de los Reyes Magos) on January 3rd, 2025. This family-oriented event, held at the Parque Deportivo Puerta de Hierro, aims to promote physical activity and healthy leisure, combining sport, tradition, and shared values.

This popular race offers a unique experience for participants of all ages. Here’s a breakdown of the key information:

Race Course and Obstacles

The nearly three-kilometer route will feature various themed obstacles, making the race an engaging and fun experience for families. Participants will encounter:

  • El Camino del Portal de Belén (The Way to the Nativity Scene)
  • La Gran Nevada (The Great Snowfall)
  • La Montaña de Regalos (The Mountain of Gifts)
  • El Portal de Belén (The Nativity Scene)
  • Encuentra en el laberinto el camino hasta la estrella (Find the Way to the Star in the Labyrinth)
  • ¡Ayer roscón…y hoy chocolate! (Yesterday Roscón… and Today Chocolate!)
  • Los Camellos (The Camels)

Each obstacle must be overcome by following the instructions of the event’s technical staff. After completing the race, participants can enjoy a traditional Roscón and hot chocolate.

Who Can Participate?

The Three Kings Race is open to individuals aged 5 and older.

Registration and Fees

Registration is now open and can be completed through the official website. It is important to note that registrations are personal and non-transferable.

Fees:

  • Adults: 5.60 euros
  • Minors: 3.60 euros
  • Family Rate: 15.60 euros (for all family members)

Registration will remain open until the maximum capacity of 1,200 participants is reached.

Race Schedule

The event will feature four waves of 300 runners each, with staggered starts:

  • 1st Wave: 10:00 AM
  • 2nd Wave: 11:00 AM
  • 3rd Wave: 12:00 PM
  • 4th Wave: 1:00 PM

Bib and Commemorative T-Shirt Collection

Bibs and commemorative t-shirts will be distributed on the day of the event, starting one hour before each wave’s start time. Collection will take place in the designated area near the starting line.
