Barcelona, May 18 – Mayor Jaume Collboni will be the protagonist of a special event organized by The New Barcelona Post on June 8th at 6:30 PM in the Sala Moragues of the Born Museum of History of Barcelona. Titled “Conversation with Mayor Collboni,” the event will provide a platform for dialogue on the present and future of the Catalan capital during a particularly significant time for the city.

Mayor to Discuss Barcelona’s Key Challenges and Opportunities

Presented and moderated by journalist and professor Toni Aira, the conversation will see the mayor evaluate Barcelona’s current situation and share his vision on the major challenges and opportunities facing the city. Barcelona is experiencing a pivotal year, marked by its designation as the world capital of architecture, the European capital of proximity commerce, and the progress of emblematic projects such as the culmination of the Sagrada Família tower.

The meeting will address issues related to Barcelona’s economic and urban model, housing, mobility, the city’s international projection, and the role the Catalan capital aims to play in strategic sectors such as science, innovation, culture, creative industries, and entrepreneurship.

Limited Attendance and Special Anniversary Celebration

The event will have limited capacity for 200 people and will require prior registration to attend, with the aim of fostering a close conversation and a meeting point for institutional, business, cultural, and economic and innovative ecosystem representatives in Barcelona.

The meeting will also hold special significance for The New Barcelona Post, which will use the event to celebrate five years since the publication became part of Must Media. During the event, the magazine will present new developments and projects related to its editorial and business evolution, marking a new stage of growth and consolidation.

Venue: Born Museum of History

The event will take place in the Sala Moragues of the Born Museum of History of Barcelona, a versatile space with natural light located in the heart of Born, which has established itself as one of the city’s unique venues for hosting conversations related to urban thought, culture, and economic activity.
