OMG! Barcelona’s FREE Board Game Festival ‘DAU’ is BACK and It’s HUGE! ????????

Okay, stop scrolling! Seriously, this is NOT a drill! Barcelona is about to get its game on in the BIGGEST way possible! The legendary board game festival, DAU, is back, and it’s promising to be an absolute EPIC four-day, two-night fiesta of dice, cards, and pure, unadulterated FUN! ????

What’s the hype all about?!

From November 13th to 16th, 2025, the Fabra i Coats in Sant Andreu (Sant Adrià, 20) is transforming into a gamer’s paradise! We’re talking 10,500 square meters of pure gaming bliss, 9 different play zones, 100 activities, and a mind-blowing THOUSAND board games to explore! If that doesn’t scream ‘weekend plans sorted,’ we don’t know what does! ????

After smashing records in previous years, DAU is leveling up! They’ve expanded the agenda and capacity, expecting over 30,000 attendees. And the best part? It’s still staying true to its mission of making board games accessible to EVERYONE: entry is absolutely FREE! (Just be aware of capacity limits, so get there early!)

So, what can you actually DO there? ????

DAU isn’t just one thing; it’s a whole universe of gaming! Check out these awesome zones:

  • Dauet: For the little gamers aged 3 to 10 – start ’em young! ????
  • DAU Expert: For all you seasoned strategists looking for a real challenge! ????
  • DAU Tradicional: Dive into traditional Catalan games and soak up some local culture! ????????
  • DAU de rol: Get your role-playing on with epic RPG sessions! ????
  • DAU Històric: History buffs, assemble! Expect historical, political, and military recreations! ⚔️
  • DAU Gegant: This one’s a showstopper! Play your favorite board games in GIANT versions! Yes, you read that right – GIANT! ????

Party all night (with dice)! ????????

Forget the clubs, because DAU de Nit is back! On November 14th and 15th, from 10 PM to 6 AM, you can game ‘non-stop’ surrounded by tokens and boards. This weekend, the rhythm of the night will be guided by the roll of the dice! Who needs a dance floor when you have a game board?????????

BIG NEWS: Devir’s 25th Anniversary! ????

One of the coolest new additions is the Devir space! The expert board game publisher is celebrating its 25th anniversary with over 40 tables to try out their games, author meet-and-greets, and tons of activities. Registrations for these (and general activities) are already OPEN, and many have already been SNATCHED UP! So, RUN to their website before they’re all gone! ????

What are YOU waiting for?!

Whether you’re a hardcore board game pro or just looking for some free, awesome fun in Barcelona, DAU is the place to be this weekend. It’s an incredible opportunity to discover new games, challenge your friends, and maybe even make some new ones!

So, clear your schedule, gather your squad, and get ready for the most ‘juguetón’ weekend in Barcelona! You seriously don’t want to miss this! ????
