Madrid’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium Expands Offerings with New Leisure Hub

Madrid, May 19 – The Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium, already a prominent venue for major musical acts such as Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, BTS, Rels B, and Bruno Mars, is set to further diversify its use beyond the Atlético de Madrid football calendar. A new space, Rita’s Mirador, will open its doors adjacent to the stadium, offering a blend of leisure, gastronomy, and live events.

Rita’s Mirador: A New Concept by Autocines Group

Developed by the Autocines group, Rita’s Mirador features an open-air terrace concept with a mobile design inspired by London aesthetics. It is envisioned as a key gathering point for attendees before and after major stadium events, as well as a regular weekend attraction with its own programming.

The venue will host various activities throughout the day, including morning, midday, and afternoon sessions. These will encompass wellness-related proposals, brunch offerings, and ‘tardeo’ (late afternoon social events), with live music and DJs serving as central themes.

Enhancing the Stadium Experience and Local Entertainment

The introduction of Rita’s Mirador signifies a strategic move to transform the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium into a year-round destination, appealing to a broader audience beyond sports enthusiasts. By integrating diverse entertainment and culinary options, the stadium aims to become a more comprehensive leisure complex for Madrid residents and visitors alike.

This initiative aligns with a growing trend among large-scale venues to maximize their utility and generate revenue through varied cultural and social events, ensuring they remain vibrant community hubs even when not hosting primary sporting fixtures.

The new space is expected to draw significant attention, providing a dynamic environment for relaxation, dining, and enjoying live performances, thereby enriching Madrid’s entertainment landscape.
