“La Sub25” Festival Returns: A Night of Disruptive Art in Madrid Río
Madrid, June 9, 2026 – The sixth edition of “La Sub25,” a festival dedicated to showcasing young artistic talent, will be held on June 27th from 8:30 PM to 2:30 AM. Organized by 21 DISTRITOS, the cultural dynamism program of the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, the event will transform the Explanada Negra Multiusos, Nave de Terneras, and the surrounding area of Madrid Río in the Arganzuela district into a vibrant hub of creativity.
The festival, in collaboration with MADO Madrid Orgullo, aims to provide visibility to the talent, creative force, and multiculturalism of young artists. Attendees can expect a diverse program encompassing dance, performance, visual arts, theater, poetry, circus, music, and participatory activities.
A Consolidate Platform for Young Artists
Following the success of its first five editions, “La Sub25” has established itself as a leading festival in Madrid, attracting considerable interest from young artists eager to present their work. It has also become a significant draw for audiences of all ages.
This year, the festival moves away from large crowds to foster a more intimate, participatory, and creative community. It invites the public to engage with youth culture from various perspectives, whether by enjoying live performances or participating in interactive activities, installations, and workshops. The festival thus transforms into a living laboratory where new digital languages coexist with traditional disciplines. In line with its commitment to a safe and inclusive environment, the event will feature active points offering information and dynamics related to diversity, youth, sustainability, gender, and inclusion.
